Shop Still in Fashion after 90 Years

On 8th and 9th March 2013 we celebrated the opening of the doors of Edgar Jerome 90 years ago, back in 1923. Such was the response to the event ITV filmed the day, hundreds of our customers came in to share in our success with a glass of bubbles and 90th year cup cake!. On both days we had a piper out side of the shop providing a wonderful fanfare to all approaching. Few establishments are able to say they have been in the same premises, almost unchanged! for 90 years and continue to offer the same excellent service to their customers. Johm and Paul would like to thank everyone who visited us over the weekend and braved the rain, it is your support and kindness that enables traditional shops like Edgar Jerome to continue to prosper, and hopefully reach their centenary.

Victoria Day 2nd June 2012

This years Victoria Day saw thousands of people from Aldershot, Farnborough and beyond visit Aldershot town centre for a fantastic, free, family fun day. The day had a 1950's theme to it, to celebrate The Queen's Diamond Jubilee. It began with a colourful parade through the town centre followed by the official opening of the brand new community bandstand in Princes Gardens. It was here that John was awarded the Best Window Display prize for our Jubilee window, below.

Here's a photo of John and his daughter Kate flying the Union flag as part of the opening parade.

Armed Forces Day 30th June 2012.

What is Armed Forces Day?
It’s an opportunity to do two things. Firstly, to raise public awareness of the contribution made to our country by those who serve and have served in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces. Secondly, it gives the nation an opportunity to Show Your Support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families and from veterans to cadets.
Across the country people are getting involved: communities hold local events and business show their support.

This year, the National Event will be held in Edinburgh, but there are many more events up and down the country being held in support of Armed Forces Day.

Edgar Jerome are proud to support Armed Forces Day and in celebration of this we offered 10% off everything bought online and in-store.
