Past and Present Events in Aldershot

The Aldershot Garrison Show - July 2nd 2011

The very popular Aldershot Army Show was cancelled in 2010 due to operational commitments and budgetary restraints. This year’s show came back and was bigger than ever attrracting over 20,000 visitors who enjoyed a wide variety of displays from the army, plenty of children's rides and other attractions and, of course, shopping with lots of exhibitors! We had a great day at this event on stand G8.

Armed Forces Day 25th June 2011.

Having traded in Aldershot for over 88 years, to celebrate Aldershot's links with the armed forces, Edgar Jerome are proud to support this day and our troops and offered 10% off all purchases between 25th June and 2nd July 2011

What is Armed Forces Day?
It’s an opportunity to do two things. Firstly, to raise public awareness of the contribution made to our country by those who serve and have served in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces. Secondly, it gives the nation an opportunity to Show Your Support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families and from veterans to cadets.
Across the country people are getting involved: communities hold local events and business show their support.
This year, the National Event will be held in Edinburgh, but there are many more events up and down the country being held in support of Armed Forces. Day www.armedforcesday.org.uk
